WEGO won the pitch for Veneta Cucine’s new web project, working from the very beginning on a precise question: how do you bring online a brand with over 50 years of history without turning the website into an archive?
The response was not a simple redesign, but a methodical process: analyzing the existing architecture, redefining user journeys, co-designing UX/UI, and developing and integrating systems. The goal was to bring new order to a rich and complex ecosystem, renewing its image according to contemporary digital standards without losing the value of over 50 years of history. Products, institutional content, services, and the dealer network were organized within a smoother, more intuitive, and coherent experience, capable of guiding the user through navigation while maintaining the full depth and richness of the brand’s offerings.
Alongside the work on content, design, and user experience, WEGO developed a digital platform built on a headless, API-driven, integration-oriented architecture capable of connecting content, services, data, and the retail network within a connected digital ecosystem. A design approach based on modularity and scalability principles allows the platform to evolve over time without technological constraints, ensuring high performance and more efficient information management. Furthermore, integration with the dealer network system represents a key pillar of an increasingly omnichannel, service-oriented digital strategy.
On a visual level, WEGO worked on a design language starting from Veneta Cucine’s distinctive brand codes, translating them into a coherent and recognizable digital experience. Rather than an aesthetic applied on top of the site, it is a system of components designed according to design system logic, intended to guarantee brand consistency, evolvability, and recognizability across every digital touchpoint.
The work also extended into Advertising and SEO, using a revised approach compared to the past. In 2025/2026, the strategy shifted from a defensive logic to active demand management, combining broader national coverage, drive-to-store campaigns, new user acquisition, and Demand Gen activities to capture qualified traffic without cannibalizing brand presence.
«Technology truly works when it’s invisible, making everything simpler: for those navigating the site and for those managing the project every day. For Veneta Cucine, we built a digital foundation designed to bring order to complexity without turning it into a complex user experience. That is the true value of a well-designed platform: supporting the brand today while giving it room to evolve tomorrow», comments Simone Pellizzon, CTO of WEGO.
«We chose WEGO because even during the pitch stage, they read the project the right way: not as a redesign, but as an evolution of how we present ourselves online. We were looking for a partner capable of navigating the complexity of our brand, product, and retail network without oversimplifying or weighing down the experience. That was the real value: combining creative sensitivity, design methodology, and the ability to make the website, performance, and content talk to one another. There is still much work to be done, goals are numerous, and the customer journey is increasingly diverse; for this reason, we work together with WEGO so that modern digital challenges become concrete opportunities for growth, innovation, and closeness to our customers», states the Veneta Cucine marketing team.
With this project, WEGO confirms its expertise in designing web experiences that go beyond being navigated, helping brands organize their world and make it more accessible.
